Nicolaus Copernicus was an important character of the Renaissance. He was born in 1473 in Poland and he died in 1543 at the age of 70. He was the astronomer who formulated the first heliocentric theory of the Solar System.
I admire this character because he did an important step for the astronomy and he was very important for the scientific Revolution.
